Opening Ceremony for one of Clark County's most celebrated non-profit events!

Kick off the Greek Food Festival with purpose and tradition by participating in our 26.2-Mile Torch Relay—a symbolic journey inspired by the original Marathon of Greece. This special opening event brings our community together to honor heritage, celebrate movement, and unite around a meaningful cause.

The Cause

All funds raised through the Torch Relay will benefit Blood Cancer United. Your participation helps support patients and families affected by blood cancer while advancing critical research, education, and advocacy efforts. One mile can make a powerful difference.

Event Details

  • 26.2 miles total — 26 individuals or groups needed
  • Each participant or team completes 1 mile – or more, if they choose
  • Choose your own mode of movement: run, walk, bike, or another creative option
  • Participants are asked to solicit sponsors for the mile they complete
  • Friends, families, coworkers, church groups, and community teams are encouraged
  • Every mile contributes to a unified relay and meaningful charitable impact
